Teen Driver Education

  • Teen Classroom and Behind-the-Wheel

    Texas teen driver education is required for all teens 14-17.  We offer a complete driver education class for our Texas teens.  

    • 32 hours of classroom instruction
    • 14 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction
    • DPS written exams administered the first week of class

    Take a one-on-one driving lesson to assess your skills, work on a specific maneuver, or just gain more experience behind-the-wheel.  Lessons are $60 per hour.

Our August class begins August 5, 2024 and meets Monday through Thursday for four weeks ending on August 29, 2024. We will meet from 5:00 - 7:00 each night. The Behind-the-Wheel portion will be done in seven 2-hour flexible sessions. These sessions will start up to 4-6 weeks after the classroom portion is complete. *The state requires teens to hold their permits a minimum of six months and be at least 16 years of age before they are eligible to take a Skills Test to obtain a provisional license.
